Addressing the problem.
Deforestation is becoming a big problem, Currently, 10 million hectares worth of trees is taken down each year. Not including burned trees from forest fires. This is affecting every part of the world, such as North America. Deforestation also causes soil to be more likely to erode, deforestation won't always be permanent North America is a good example of this as forests there are recovering as a result of preservation. Due to the results of deforestation over the course of 2000 years, the landscape has changed greatly as well. Another issue is that due to deforestation animals are losing their homes which can cause mass extinction.
