What are some organizations doing now to help Water Pollution?
Well, some that are working with the public is working on departments to limit the road salt use because then it is able to prevent the chloride from running off into the water. Also TeamSeas is this organization where if you donate money they remove a pound of trash from bodies of water.
Some ways you and others can help with making a difference:
The people that collect the trash can make like a place where they dump the trash and there is this thing that breaks it down so it wont pollute the water so sea creatures and there habitats will not be harmed as much as they are being harmed right now.
Using electrical cars is also a solution because then gas won't be needed which won't cause oil spills that will end up running off into the closest body of water there is.
Planting more trees will also help because then it will help getting better water quality so if it rains or if there is a storm the tree will have a lot of the water which will prevent the water to run-off into a nearby body of water. It will also decrease the the amount of stormwater through stormsewers.
Using less water will also help, if you keep wasting water we won't have much clean water left. So don't keep the faucet running longer then it should be, take shorter showers and much more.
