Did you know that only around 1% of Earth's water is fresh? The rest of it is salty and we are unable to drink. The reason why is because, water pollution is a problem us humans are causing. We are not only causing pollution but, we are causing water pollution. The reason why is because we aren't cleaning up after ourselves like we should be doing, instead we just countinue to litter. Littering isn't good for the environment because, if the stuff we are littering ends up in the ocean it can really harm innocent sea creatures and there habitats. What is climate change? Well climate change is when the weather changes and so somedays it might snow, or rain while on other days it might be very hot outside, now that oils, gases and coal power homes, cars and factories, the energy sources releases a gas which is called C02 in other words for Carbon Dioxide which then it enters the atmosphere and increases the Earths heat temperture which is causing the Earth's planet warming. Climate change is How does water pollution affect climate change? Well, the pollution in the water could reach the pointwhere there isn't a lot of oxygen for the fish to be able to breathe, which will make the fish suffocate. Also it could affect the food chain because if the smaller fishes have eaten chemicals and then bigger fish that eat the smaller fish will get the pollutants aswell. Also, sewage is a major problems in rivers. All of the bacteria in the water will have to use oxygen to break the sewage down but if there's so much sewage the bacteria would need to use basically all of the oxygen which leaves almost none for the fish.
