Gowanda High School Trap Team
This is the official page for the Gowanda High School Trap Team. 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 Conference Champions!!!
The Gowanda High School Trap team started its first season in the Spring 2018 season. For the spring 2018 season we had 27 athletes on the team, 2 students managers, and 4 Coaches along with 6 scorers and several ATA trainers. In the spring of 2019 we had 38 students sign up to be on the team and there is a cap of 40 students.
The Gowanda Trap Team participates in 2 seasons; Spring, which runs from March-June and the fall season which runs from September-October. We shoot twice a week for the spring season and once a week for the fall season. We are now forming teams to shoot in the off season in gun club winter and summer league. This is not affiliated with the school.

Beside following the policies of the league we also follow all state, federal, school, gun club and local laws/rules. The Gowanda High School Trap team including all coaches, parents and students will follow all policies/laws/rules. Safety and fun are the top priorities of this team.
Affiliate Gun Club
The Gowanda Panthers Trap Team will shoot at the Evans Rod and Gun Club on Wedneday nights and Saturday mornings! We have chosen the Evans Rod and Gun Club due to the close proximity to Gowanda along with the quality of the club. Evans Rod and Gun Club has 4 trap fields, a skeet field, up to a 250 yard outdoor pistol and rifle range, archery range, 3D archery course, bar and full kitchen along with a banquet room.
The Evans Rod and Gun Club is an Amateur Trap Shooting association (ATA) club. They offer trap and skeet shooting year round, open outdoor range year round, .22 silhouette shooting leagues, trap shooting leagues, 3D archery leagues, snowshoe walks on the 50 soon to be 80 acre property along with a family friendly atmosphere! Private catch and release pond. The Evans Rod and Gun Club is also sponsoring the Gowanda Panthers Trap Team by reducing the cost of shooting. With all this why we would we not choose them!!!!
