As you can see, I am no graphic artist. The concept for the cover was that there would be a boy standing over a deep cliff, which symbolizes Oliver looking out of his penthouse window in reflection. A black hole is adjacent to Oliver, which symbolizes the hole ever-present throughout the story. The black-and-white coloring is also intentional. I did not want the cover to pop in order for the words to speak for themselves.
The Book Cover: A cicada is added to symbolize a metaphor in one of the poems. The running title on the side was actually created out of a necessity for dimensional purposes.
