Anxiety: A disorder that can cause frequent intense, excessive and persistent worry and fear about everyday situations. Often, anxiety disorders involve repeated episodes of sudden feelings of intense anxiety and fear or terror that reach a high point within minutes, sometimes faster, also known as panic attacks.
Depression: A mood disorder that causes a constant feeling of sadness and loss of interest in general things and life. It affects how you feel, think and behave and can lead to a variety of emotional and physical problems.
Schizophrenia: A serious mental disorder in which people interpret and see reality abnormally. Schizophrenia may result in some combination, or single concepts of hallucinations, delusions, and extremely disordered thinking and behavior. All of these that impair daily functioning, and can be disabling.
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder: A mental health condition that's triggered by a terrifying event. This could either be from experiencing it or witnessing it. Some symptoms may include flashbacks, nightmares and severe anxiety, as well as uncontrollable thoughts about the event.
