During my first March Madness week, I visited the store called A Sustainable Village at the East Village. This store is known for their refill stations to limit plastic packaging.

During my second March Madness week, I was experimenting with creating bioplastic from a WikiHow tutorial. This is part of the process. I used agar agar powder, water, food coloring, and a melted glycerin pill

The finished result had a similar texture to just agar agar. I tested the pliability and it was quite brittle. It reminded me a bit of slime with too much borax: it could stretch a little but it would tear easily. My finished product could not replace plastic as it is weak.
