I have always been interested in learning how to sew and how to make clothing. I thought that March Madness would be a great opportunity to further explore that interest and learn a useful skill, so I focused my project around sewing and fashion design.

For my project I sewed six skirts using a sewing machine, each with from the same pattern but with a different fabric. I made two skirts for myself and made the rest for my family and friends. Additionally, I attended an online fashion design class at the Putney School in the Fall.
