I spent all of the second IP10 week on editing and finishing my project. This included teaching myself Final Cut Pro and working with Mr. Todd on how to form a narrative by coding specific topics touched on in each interview. While editing was laborious, it was exciting to learn and (sort of) master a new skill.
After talking with Mr. Todd and watching the footage the I had collected, I decided to first edit each interview individually and then used the most potent and important information in my final documentary. I did this because there were so many wonderfull personal stories that were captured that I didn't want to be cut out or lost within fact-heavy narratives.
