Building an Inclusive Library Through Outreach

The Utah Academic Library Consortium will have its Annual Fall Retreat on Friday, October 7, 2022 at the BYU Law Library in Provo, Utah. Zoom participation for attendees who cannot attend in-person will be provided.

The 2022 retreat theme is "Building an Inclusive Library Through Outreach," with keynote speaker Felicia A. Smith, currently the inaugural Racial Justice & Social Equity Librarian and previously the Head of Learning & Outreach at Stanford University Libraries. The retreat is free of charge for all interested employees of UALC member libraries, but registration by September 15, 2022 will be required for in-person attendees so that the breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack catering that is all provided free of charge to the attendees can be ordered.
