Basic information:
This is a week-long summer school about recent research trends in the Langlands program, broadly construed. It aims to continue in the tradition of the influential 1977 Corvallis summer institute by giving early-career researchers an accessible introduction to the current directions of research in this highly active and exciting field. We are hoping to introduce participants to the many open questions and opportunities for progress within the Langlands program and to allow those who may already be working on Langlands-adjacent areas to see the full landscape of this program.
In particular, we do not assume that our participants are already doing research on the Langlands program, and encourage applications from number theorists of all flavors.

To request funding: In addition to the interest form, please also fill out the following funding form if you are interested in receiving funding for lodging and/or travel.
Our target audience is PhD students in their third year or above as well as early-career postdocs. We hope to provide lodging and partial travel support for all junior participants who are affiliated with US institutions. Researchers from outside the US and from other career stages are also encouraged to attend, but senior participants should not expect to receive travel funding or lodging. (We will send such participants a list of recommended lodging options in Corvallis at varying price ranges).
