Dear Panther Choir Family,
As the new Choir Director at Colleyville Heritage, I am absolutely thrilled to begin this journey with all of you! It's an incredible honor to join a program with such rich tradition, talent, and heart and I can't wait to see where this year takes us together.
To our returning students: Thank you for the warm welcome and for continuing to carry the Panther Choir legacy with pride. To our new students especially our awesome freshman class, I am so excited to get to know you and help you find your place in our musical family.
This year is more than just singing, it's about building community, lifting each other up, and creating something powerful and lasting through music. I truly believe we're going to do great things this year, and I'm honored to lead the way with you.
Here's to fresh starts, strong voices, and unforgettable moments. Let's make some magic toghter!

Bienvenidos al Coro De CHHS!
Mi Nombre es Ricardo Garza, y estoy muy emocionado de presentarme como el nuevo Director del Coro en CHHS. Es un verdadero honor unimre a esta maravillosa comunidad, y estoy esperando con entusiasmo un año increíble lleno de crecimiento, conexiones y, por supruesto, música.
El coro es much mas que cantar. Es un especio donde los estudiantes desarrollan confiazna, crean amistades duraderas y forman parte de algo más grande que ellos mismos. Ya sea que su hijo(a) ya esté en el coro o acaba de entrar, sepa que será bienvenido(a) en um ambiente postitivo, divertido y lleno de apoyo.
No dude en comunicarse conmigo si teiene alugna pregunta. !Estoy muy emocidonado por comenzar y hacer de este un año inolvidable!

BOOSTER BEATS
Choir Booster Club Membership Drive
The CHHS Choir Booster Club works throughout the school year to support all Colleyville Heritage High School Choirs. Working in concert with the District and the CHHS Choir Director to ensure every student has an opportunity to grow in the choir department and enjoy their time learning and performing.
Membership dues and funds raised by the Booster Club help to fund or offset the costs of contest entry fees & transportation, concert venues & programs, scholarships, accompanist fees, celebratory social events for all choir members, and more.

TMEA AUDITIONS
TMEA AUDITIONS
I encourage our students to take advantage of the opportunities for competition this semester. Students who choose to participate in the District Choir Auditions (All-State Track) should already be preparing. Freshmen and sophomores who choose to audition for the 9-10 Honor Choir will begin working in September.

Sectionals and private lessons are offered daily and students should be practicing every day.
Please make sure to complete the contract and submit fees by the deadline. Students must remain academically eligible to participate.

Please consider taking advatage of our private lessons program! Weekly private instruction with our amazing teacher Mrs. Powell is a game changer for individual vocal growth! Fill out and return the form to get scheduled today!
Communication
We will be using SportsYou as our primary communication tool for the CHHS choir program. Students should download the SportsYou app and scan the QR code that corresponds to their specific choir class. Parents/Guardians are also encouraged to join so you can stay updated on announcements, events and reminders!
