Learning new things, including math, requires a dedication to continual practice and an understanding that mistakes will happen along the way. My approach to teaching includes providing opportunities to try and supporting all efforts with encouragement and guidance.

- Master's Degree in Mathematics Education from the University of Texas at Dallas
- 19 years of teaching MS and HS mathematics in Texas

- Married for nearly 20 years
- 3 sons
- 8th grader plays baseball 3 seasons a year and runs Cross Country
- 7th grader plays baseball 3 seasons a year and plans to play football and basketball for his MS
- Youngest son will play T-ball on an official team for the first time this fall and attends PK at Timberline ES
