The GCISD-JPS school-based health clinic provides primary health care services to students in GCISD. In addition, siblings of students and infants may also be seen. A parent or responsible adult must accompany children for visits.
Typical services include:
Treatment for sore throats, colds
Immunizations
Assessment and treatment of minor injuries
General physicals, such as checkups and well-child checks
School sports physicals
The clinic also offers management of chronic diseases such as acne, asthma, diabetes, allergies, and weight problems. In addition, health education programs on nutrition and exercise are offered.
Fees for services:
Students without insurance - Must fill out paperwork for Title V
Students with CHIP, Medicaid, and JPS Connection – applicable co-pay
Students with insurance – applicable co-pays (PCP restrictions may apply)
Students with insurance and JPS is not a preferred provider – the full cost of services

Gill Children’s Services is a funding source of last resort that provides a safety net for Tarrant County Children whose medical, dental, physical, social, psychological and educational needs have not been met by other community resources.
