Clubs & Organizations
Purpose and Mission
Colleyville Heritage High School supports students' interests and endeavors through student-run clubs and organizations.
Co-curricular meet during the school day and have a curriculum. Students who join these courses are scheduled into them as part of their school-day schedule and they will receive a grade and credit for passing the course.
Extra-curricular clubs are clubs created by students for students. They generally meet before or after school and are built around common interests.
Academic clubs are for students who want to compete in an academic area(s).
Honor Societies are for students who have demonstrated academic excellence in a particular content area or with an overall GPA. Most honor societies require students to perform service hours as a requisite for club membership.
Athletic/Spirit/Recreational organizations consists of the athletic teams and spirit organizations at CHHS. Some of the teams and organizations require tryouts, while others allow students to join in membership.
Fine Arts clubs and organizations allow students to explore the arts. Some of the organizations require tryouts and other will allow students to join as members.
