Communion Sunday: We will celebrate communion as a body this Sunday.
Shared Meal: Just a reminder, our next shared meal will be on the SECOND Sunday in August (August 9th) instead of the first Sunday of the month.
Summer Reminder: As many ministries are on summer break, take a moment to reach out to those who may need extra encouragement or someone to talk to. If someone is on your heart, it might be God’s prompting to reach out to them.
Sunday Morning Bible Study: Due to a God’s Garden Teacher/Helper meeting the same morning, the Sunday Morning Bible Study will not meet on August 16th.
*Greeter/Usher/Counter Schedule: Summer is quickly wrapping up, and soon we will be working on the greeter, usher, and counter schedule for the rest of the year (September-December). If you are on that list of volunteers and have any scheduling conflicts during those months, please reply to my scheduling email. If you are not already volunteering to be a greeter and would like to “join the team”, let us know by emailing secretary@gcfchurch.net; it is a great way to get to know more people!
Picture Directory: We are putting together a GCF picture directory this summer. If you would like to be included, please send a horizontal digital photo of your household to secretary@gcfchurch.net. Pictures will be cropped to best see people’s faces (5:4 ratio). Please submit your family pictures by August 16th (preferably earlier) so we can have it ready for printing by the end of August.
Adult children who live in your home can either be included in your family photo or submitted as their own “family”.
It will be attached to our normal church directory, so please ensure your family’s information is included (if you need to be added to our normal church directory). Fill out our contact information form to update your contact info.
This doesn’t need to be professional (most submitted pictures are not). A smartphone and someone to take your picture is all you need. Ask someone at church to take your picture!

1. GCF ONLINE GIVING has been updated on our website, gcfchurch.net, and our 'Word Server' app for Android and iOS. We now provide more giving options—you can use Credit/Debit, ACH/Checking, or SMS/Text Giving.
● This system is tightly integrated with our Churchtrac church management software and utilizes the latest security methods.
● To take advantage of all of these new features, you should log in with your name and email, at which time you can set up your password.
2. By logging in, you will be able to view and print your giving records, as well as update your family profile, including email addresses, phone numbers, and other relevant details. Whenever you make changes to your records or contact information, please send an email to secretary@gcfchurch.net to inform me so that the edits can be made in the appropriate locations (e.g., the GCF printed directory).
