GCF E-Bulletin for Friday, March 27, 2026
Good Friday Service: We will be having a special service at 7 pm on Friday, April 3rd, in celebration of Good Friday. The service will be short, and communion will be served. Childcare will not be provided.
Resurrection Sunday (April 5th):
Please note that we will not hold our Sunday Morning Bible Study on April 5th.
There will be no children’s church during the message so the teacher can be in the service. Miss Ruth will have packets available for those in preschool through 5th grade. The nursery will be available as normal.
Shared Meal: Due to the holiday at the beginning of the month, our shared meal will be on the second Sunday in April (April 12th). In May, we will go back to the first Sunday (May 3rd).
Spring Clean Up: Please save the date of Wednesday, April 15th (at 6 pm) to help spruce up our grounds during our annual spring cleanup. We will incorporate some interior tasks as well (such as toy cleaning and possibly window washing), so even if you aren’t interested in exterior work, we can find something for you to do!
YJAM Worship Concert: Mark your calendars for Thursday, May 21st. That evening, YJAM will host a night of worship that you won’t want to miss!
YJAM: Regular YJAM lessons are over for the season as we are currently rehearsing for our spring worship concert. Anyone interested in learning more about YJAM should contact Jeff Hall at 616-550-0121.
Church Camp: With spring just around the corner, we wanted to remind you to get the dates for our family church camp onto your calendar. The weekend of June 26-28, we will head down to Camp Michawana for a few days of fun and fellowship. This event, which has been a GCF tradition for 30 years now, is for the WHOLE family, and there is NO cost to you! There are options to stay at a campsite or in a cabin, depending on your family's needs. We also feed you for the entire weekend. If you are new to GCF or just have never joined us for this event, we encourage you to consider going. More info to come as it gets closer.
THIS SUNDAY - March 29
SUNDAY MESSAGE: Jesse Meerman will deliver the message - “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem!”
We will continue to provide an online service on Sunday mornings at 10:00 am. You may continue to join us on the gcfchurch.net website or www.facebook.com/gcfchurch. Please remember to get ready by logging on to either of the sites listed above; the service begins streaming at 10:00 a.m. The previously posted service or message will be shown until the next scheduled Service begins streaming.
