What is Jazz Band and can I join?

Jazz band is an opportunity for students to explore different genres of music and the chance to improvise on their instrument. The group is only available to students who play: Any saxophone (alto/ tenor/ bari), trumpet, trombone, baritone, drum set, piano, bass guitar, and guitar. Jazz band practice is after school on Wednesday from 2:30 – 3:30. *** I sometimes call jazz band - stage band = same thing.
