History
Since its inception in 1976 HOSA has grown steadily reaching over 250,000 members. VA HOSA's first Constitutional Convention was held in 1980 in Charlottesville, Virginia. At this Convention, bylaws were officially adopted, and the delegates voted to affiliate with National HOSA. Fifty-three chapters were chartered with 1,584 students as members.
HOSA has been at part of GHS for quite some time; however, over the past 3 years the club has grown in size, compassion, and commitment.
