The Dux Artium is the most prestigious award made to a student of the Arts at Glenfield College. The Dux Artium will possess exemplary technical and conceptual skill resulting in excellent grades in their chosen field. They will also show a commitment to promoting the Arts at Glenfield College.

This year's recipient is Andrey Nair. Andrey won the Moore Cup for Top Senior Artist in 2020 when he was in Year 12. In 2020, he received a Pat Hanly Award for Creativity, awarded by the Auckland Art Gallery. He was an academic mentor for Painting and achieved Excellence in all NCEA assessments since Level 1.
