The Department of Applied Physics is starting a lecture series on multidisciplinary contemporary research topics. The first lecture of this series is being organized on 12th April, 2025, 11:30 AM at the Conference Room of USoVSAS with the invited talk of Professor R. K. Brojen Singh, School of Computational and Integrative Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University. The title of the talk is ‘Digging embedded patterns and equations in complex system’.

The Department of Applied Physics at Gautam Buddha University is a part of the School of Vocational Studies and Applied Sciences. It was established in 2011 with the aim of providing in-depth knowledge of various disciplines of Physics and their applications. The department offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in Physics. The undergraduate program, B.Sc. The postgraduate program, M.Sc. in Physics with speciazalation in Quantum Technology, Astrophysics, Energy Technology and photonics is a two-year degree that focuses on advanced research in applied physics. The doctoral program, Ph.D. in Physics, is designed for students who wish to pursue a career in research and teaching. The department has a well-qualified faculty with expertise in various areas of physics. The faculty members are actively involved in research and have published numerous papers in international journals. The department also has a number of state-of-the-art research facilities, including a fabrication laboratory, a materials characterization laboratory, and a computational physics laboratory. The department has a strong commitment to providing its students with a high-quality education. The department offers a variety of courses, seminars, and workshops to help students develop their knowledge and skills.
