HE Industry Mentoring Scheme
HE Industry Mentoring Scheme
Priority is given Level 5 and 6 students studying with us.
Priority is given Level 5 and 6 students studying with us.
Training is provided to all students, after which they are linked with a mentor in a relevant industry for 6 months, with meetings taking place once a month from November to April.
Students work with their mentor to develop their knowledge and professional skills, gaining insight into current industry practices.

This is a pilot project in collaboration with the University of Brighton and aims to give HE students an insight into the broad and colourful world of freelancing in the creative industries.
This is a pilot project in collaboration with the University of Brighton and aims to give HE students an insight into the broad and colourful world of freelancing in the creative industries.
The project includes a series of talks delivered by creative freelancers on subjects such as:
What is a freelancer?
Monetising your creativity
Practical tips and tricks
The power of collaboration
How to be your best freelance self
Protecting your intellectual property
