Learning Resource Centres

Our Learning Resource Centres (LRCs) are at the centre of college life and provide access to a range of computers, flexible study areas and course-related resources, including both online and a large library collection. Additionally students can book workshops and 1:1 sessions to develop their information literacy, research and software skills.

We have two main LRCs, one at the West Durrington Campus and another at Central Campus in Brighton, as well as smaller LRCs at Shoreham, Broadwater and East Campuses.

At West Durrington our purpose-built, split-level centre (LRC1 and 2) houses an extensive library collection, additionally offers guidance and support on the use of software packages and access to a wide range of cuttings, slides, periodicals and other textual and visual materials, A2 scanner and online digital resources.

Students are able to continue their learning and academic research in an independent manner, use specialised equipment, explore new media and access our Digital Learning Environment with a friendly team on hand who are skilled in supporting the creative industries.
