Creative Industries Peer Mentoring
Creative Industries Peer Mentoring
The peer mentoring scheme provides Level 3 creative industry students with an opportunity to link with a current HE student. This structured programme will give insight into what it is like to study the subjects at university level. For more information contact: wp@gbmc.ac.uk.

University Courses AT CCG and Internal Progression
CCG offers a range of higher education courses. Students wishing to internally progress onto a university-level course can apply directly to the college, and do not have to complete a UCAS application. In addition to tutors in your curriculum area, the WP Team is on hand to provide information, advice and guidance to students interested in following this pathway.

We organise trips to the UCAS Create Your Future Fair for our Level 3 creative industries students, and the UCAS Sussex Higher Exhibition for all Level 3 students. These events give students valuable insight into the range of options available at higher education study nationally, and provide an ideal platform to seek advice from experts at universities and other HE institutions.
We facilitate and support subject specific visits to our local universities, including the MET’s University Centre, to give students the opportunity to experience a higher education environment first-hand and enhance their understanding of different subject areas.
We also run industry taster days and masterclasses, both inside and outside of college, to give students an insight into potential career destinations to increase their knowledge and understanding of specific subject areas and industry sectors.
