January

Problem (1/25/22 at 11:30 am): Internet Outage District wide

Details/Actions: The GISD reports that the internet is out county wide. Until the problem is resolved, internet-based services will not be available.

Resolution: As of 12 pm on 1/25/22, internet has been restored.

DECEMBER

Problem (12/15/21 at 8:40 am): Multiple Platforms used by GBCS Staff and Students are Unavailable (including Jupiter and many more)

Details/Actions: Tech Services was notified that users are unable to access many platforms that are used regularly (i.e. Jupiter). Tech Services is investigating the issue.

Resolution: As of 8:50 pm 12/15/21 the problem has been resolved and platforms users access (Jupiter, etc...) are available again.

Problem (12/7/21 at 12:30 pm): Multiple Platforms used by GBCS Staff and Students are Unavailable

Details/Actions: Tech Services was notified that users are unable to access or having major performance issues with several different platforms used by staff and students. The GISD has made us aware of issues impacting many online content providers. Tech Services will continue to monitor the situation for updates.

Resolution: As of 12/8/21 issues appear to have been resolved and platforms are operational again.

Problem (12/7/21 at 11:15 am): Timeout/Access Errors when trying to login into Renaissance/STAR

Details/Actions: Tech Services was notified that users are unable to log into Renaissance and are receiving errors or just not able to log in. They are aware of the issue and currently investigating/fixing.

Resolution: As of 12/8/21 Renaissance/STAR appears to be operational and the problem resolved.

Problem (12/7/21 at 11:15 am): Savaas/Pearson products are currently unavailable

Details/Actions: Tech Services was notified that users are unable to access Savaas/Pearson products (05 Social Studies text). Savaas is are aware of the issue and currently investigating/fixing.

Resolution: As of 12/8/21 Savaas/Pearson appears to be operational and the problem resolved.

NOVEMBER

Problem (11/29/21 at 10 am): Problems accessing content rostered through Clever (Amplify, TCI, Big Ideas, etc...)

Details/Actions: Tech Services was notified that users are receiving errors when trying to access resources rostered through Clever (Amplify, TCI, Big Ideas Math, PLTW, etc...). Clever is aware of the issue and is currently investigating.

Resolution: As of 10:35 am, Clever reports that a fix has been applied and they are continuing to monitor the situation.

AUGUST

Problem (8/10/21 at 12:00 pm): Classlink MyApps Page not Loading

Details/Actions: Classlink has notified us of a potential issue with the MyApps page not loading after login which could impact the ability to access apps via Classlink. They are working to correct the issue as soon as possible.

Resolution: As of 1pm, Classlink reports that the problem has been resolved.

JULY

Problem (7/28/21 at 7:55 am): Potential Gmail Outages

Details/Actions: Google has reported potential outages/issues with Gmail. They are currently looking into the issue and hope to have it resolved soon. Until the issue is determined and resolved students may have limited to no access to their school email.

Resolution: As of 7/29/21 Gmail appears to be working normally.
