Mrs. Beard
Hi! I am Mrs. Beard! I graduated from Duquesne University with my Bachelors of Science in Sports Medicine degree and my Masters of Science in Education degree. I also received my Certification in K-12 STEM from California University of PA. My passion is Science & Technology and life long learning! I have been an educator for more than 20 years with 18 of those years as a Kindergarten Teacher. I also served as the Kindergarten and K-1 G.A.T.E. Virtual teacher for the district for 2 years.
I live on a small farm with my husband and two children. We have many animals we take care of including dogs, chickens, ducks, bees and goats! When I am not teaching, you can find me spending time with my family, educating my own children, Masters Swimming, and reading as many books as possible!
