Mrs. Beard

  Hi!  I am Mrs. Beard! I graduated from Duquesne University with my Bachelors of Science in Sports Medicine degree and my Masters of Science in Education degree.  I also received my Certification in K-12 STEM from California University of PA.  My passion is Science & Technology and life long learning!  I have been an educator for more than 20 years with 17 of those years as a Kindergarten Teacher.  I also served as the Kindergarten and K-1 G.A.T.E. Virtual teacher for the district for 2 years.

I live on a small farm with my husband and two children. We have many animals we take care of including dogs, chickens, ducks, bees and goats! When I am not teaching, you can find me spending time with my family, educating my own children, Masters Swimming, and reading as many books as possible!

Mrs. Miller

Hello! I am Mrs. Miller, and I have been a teacher at Gateway for 6 years! I have taught first grade, fourth grade & kindergarten. I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Penn State University. I also received my Master’s degree in Special Education from Penn State as well.

When I am not teaching you can easily find me spending time with my family and friends! I love being outdoors, especially around a campfire!

Mrs. Jordan

Hello!  I am Mrs. Jordan and I have been a teacher for 25 years, 17 of them at CSE!  I first taught fifth grade, then fourth, and now Kindergarten.  I enjoy young children and everything about guiding them through their first year in elementary school.  Learning in Kindergarten can be so much fun, and it is so rewarding!

My husband and I have two sons.  Zachary is 20 and just finished up his sophomore year at WVU.  Connor is 17 and loves to play football.  We live near Apollo and have two dogs, Sidney and Crosby.  I enjoy cooking, walking, reading, and spending time with family and friends.  I also have two very young nephews and I love spending time with them too!
