Meet Mrs. Lolies

My name is Mrs. Lori Lolies and I am so excited to be your child's 3rd grade math teacher this year!   Third grade is such an important year in math as students strengthen their skills in addition, subtraction, and place value while also diving into multiplication, division, fractions, and problem solving.  

In our classroom, math will be hands-on, engaging, and built around helping each child grow as a confident mathematician. We will use a variety of tools—such as manipulatives, games, group discussions, and technology—to make math meaningful and fun.

I believe that every child can succeed in math when given the right support and encouragement. My goal is to create a classroom environment where students feel safe to take risks, ask questions, and celebrate their progress.

Partnership between home and school is key to student success, so I look forward to working closely with you throughout the year. I will share regular updates, tips for supporting math at home, and highlights of what we are learning.
