The Cougar Kaleidoscopes is officially registered as a GSA (Gay-Straight Alliance) but we're here to ensure that YCMS is a safe space for every, single student that enters the building. We focus on anti-bullying skills, acceptance, anti-racism, and anti-bias lessons and activities as well as participating in national events like GLSEN's Day of Silence. Meetings happen in the library Monday (Cohort A) and Thursday (Cohort B) from 7:30-8:30.
Due to COVID restrictions you'll need to complete a form in order to attend so numbers can be controlled in advance. You will be notified by school email confirming that your name is on the list BEFORE you can attend your first meeting.
Want to just have a change of scene and eat in the library with a few friends? You can do that! You have to sign up by Monday afternoon (Cohort A) and Thursday afternoon (Cohort B) each week. You must reapply each week.
