Hello!

I am Ms. Jordan, the librarian at W. C. Friday Middle School. I graduated from North Gaston in 1985 and returned in 2004. This past year, GCS decided to divide the high school and middle school librarians between schools. Having been at NOGA for 22 years, I got to stay at the high school and inherited the main feeder school, WCF.

I have my undergraduate BS from UNCGreensboro, my teachers' certificate from Belmont Abbey, my MLS from East Carolina and am currently finishing my doctorate at the University of South Carolina-Columbia.

A little bit of information about me: I live in Gastonia, NC, with my zoo. Dogs: Jezabelle (a Basset-Beagle mix); Peanut (a Chinese Crested mix), Hela (a Lab mix), and Angel (a miniture husky). My cats are Sheldon Cooper, Emma, Fiddles, and Pickles. My hobbies include reading (of course), writing, crocheting, Lego building, gardening, and re-enacting the Middle Ages. My favorite book genres are fantasy, science-fiction, and mystery. My favorite young adult book series is the Twilight  series by Stephenie Meyer.

More fun facts about me: I love reading, and crafting. I have varied musical tastes from Mozart to AC/DC. I do play roleplaying games as well.

If you have a question for me, you can email me at rejordan@gaston.k12.nc.us.
