Cardboard Challenge

Our first Cardboard Challenge took place this year on October 15, 2018. This was our first major school-wide event. Students were tasked with designing and building a free standing prototype that would somehow make a difference either; locally, nationally or globally. Students could work in groups or independently to create something that would make a difference. Prior to building, students submitted a design plan so that a team of staff, students and parents could help with getting pre-drawn materials to students in order to aid in the assembly process. It was a great lesson in ratio and proportion and measurement for our students.
