About Me
My name is Leanna Henson and I am one of the Manufacturing/Engineering Pathway teachers here at Highland School of Technology. I grew up here in Gaston County and am very excited to be back here teaching at my alma mater and giving back to the community. After graduating from Highland, I attended North Carolina State University where I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Technology, Engineering and Design Education. I am married to my handsome husband Matthew and we both love spending time together playing disc golf and volleyball. I am also the middle of four children and am very close with my family. When we are not playing sports, we also enjoy spending time with our friends and family and getting very competitive during regular game nights.
