Students are responsible for the general care of their Chromebook and should take all necessary steps to ensure that the Chromebook is returned at the end of the year in the same condition in which the student originally received it.
Chromebooks will be inspected for damages at the end of each school year and any fees that result from user damage to the Chromebook will be issued. The Chromebooks are meant for educational use only and should not be used for personal or recreational activities nor should they be used by any user other than the assigned student enrolled at Gaston County Schools. Be sure to report a lost or damaged Chromebook to a school teacher or administrator as soon as possible.
