For instructional issues related to assigned work or guidance with online platforms such as Schoology and Canvas, please contact the student's teacher .

For hardware/chromebook issues, such as chromebook charging issues, chromebook login issues, or other hardware related issues, first check our Chromebook Troubleshooting Tips document. 

If you are unable to resolve the issue yourself and...

You/your child is attending a school each day.

Bring the Chromebook to school and follow the procedures there for technical support. This typically starts with the classroom teacher or Media Specialist. Please do not contact us directly without going through this process.

You/your child is a Gaston Virtual Academy student.

Please review the Chromebook issue diagram below. Your child's teacher should remain your first point of contact and the below number will connect your to the tech support at Forest Heights specifically for GVA.

Google Account Issue

Use GCS Google account to access Chromebooks, G Suite apps and tools, and Schoology (K-5). Please let your child's teacher know first. GVA students, please complete this form.

Schoology Account Issue

K-5 students must be signed into their GCS Google account to access Schoology AND must access Schoology at the special link: gaston.schoology.com. Issues getting into Schoology? Contact your child's teacher. Issues once inside of Schoology? Click "Support" in Schoology for support contact information.

Edgenuity Issue

Edgenuity students will use their student ID number to login. Issues with login information, a password reset, schedule issues, etc, CLICK HERE.

NCEdCloud/Canvas Password Reset

NCEdCloud allows students to access Canvas (6-12 synchronous), PowerSchool, and Clever. For an NCEdCloud password reset, please contact student's teacher(s) first.

Chromebook Issue
