Hello! This is my 6th year as a School Counselor at Gardner Park. Before becoming a School Counselor, I was both a Behavior and Academic Interventionist, After-school Program Coordinator, and facilitated a Career Center for high school students. I went to school at The University of Connecticut (go Huskies!), and received a B.A. in Human Development and Family Studies. I then went on to earn a M.S in School Counseling. Hi! I am so HAPPY to serve Gardner Park Elementary School students and staff. I have been a Counselor for 7 years and this is my 5th year at Gardner Park! Before my career as a Counselor, I worked as a Special Education Teacher, Social Worker and Marriage Family Counselor. I received my B.A in Psychology from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I then recieved my M.S. in Marriage and Family Counseling from Liberty University in Virgina. I finished my School Counseling certification at Gardner Webb University. I absolutely love my job as a Counselor, and most importantly I love working with the students and families at The Park.
