School Counseling Department

Our Mission at Bessemer City Middle School is to provide a comprehensive counseling program of support, addressing the academic, career, and personal/social development of every Bessemer City Middle School student. Through collaboration and partnership between the Counseling Department and the BCMS teachers, administrators, parents, families, and community members, the BCMS Counseling Department provides access to the services and resources each student needs to succeed in both school and life, as they prepare for success throughout the 21st Century.
