Welcome to our orientation website. Please look over the information on this page for all you need to know for the start of the school year. We look foward to seeing all of our students on Wednesday, August 16th. Remember at BCMS...We Choose Success! See you soon Tigers!
Campus Virtual Tour
We hope you enjoy our Virtual Tour of the school. Students will also get a chance to tour the school with their homeroom teacher during the first week of school.

Sixth grade parent night will be held on August 8th from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Students will receive their schedule then.
7th and 8th grade students can pick up their schedules at Open House on August 9th from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
Students that did not receive their schedules at open house, will receive them on the first day of school.
Clear Bookbags
Clear bookbags are required for all students. Students will be able to carry these throughout the school day. All bags are subject to search.

Please note that this information is from a previous school year. For the 2023-2024 school year, only clear bookbags are allowed. Masks are not required at this time.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I carry a backpack to school?
Students are permitted to carry backpacks but they must be clear. We conduct random bag searches every day.
What school supplies do I need?
A school supply list can be found above this section on the orientation page.
We aren't getting your weekly messages. How do we make sure we receive your calls?
If you are not receiving our ParentLink messages your contact information may need to be updated. Please contact the school and notify the front office. We will check to make sure we have the correct telephone number and settings for your PowerSchool account.
Can I bring my cell phone to school?
Students can bring their cell phones. They must be turned off (not just silenced) and remain in their book bag throughout the day. If a student has their cell phone out during the school day, teachers will take the phone and place it in the front office for parents to pick up.
What time does school start and end?
The instructional day begins at 8:30 a.m. Students can be dropped off as early as 7:45 a.m. Dismissal will begin at 3:30 p.m.
Will I be in classes with students from other grade levels?
No. Each grade level has their own hallway where they spend the majority of the day. Students do not attend classes with other grade levels.
