Directorate of General Registry

Is one of the significant directorates of the University of Garmian. Is handles duties related to students affairs of the university, such as ( students waiver, transfer and hosting) among colleges and universities. Moreover general registration manages the annual plan of student's enrolment, which is done via four different processes such as:-

1. Department of central admission of the ministry of higher education and scientific research.

2. Direct admission.

3. Parallel.

4. Evening study / classes.

Once students registration at the university is finished, general registration issues a university decision letter due with regard to their enrolment on one hand and also issues decision letters of students ( postponing / non- joining / delisting students name).

Directorate of general registration is composed of two main units:

a- Transcripts and Certificates Unit: Is responsible of granting graduation documents to graduates in various fields of study. Furthermore, it's in charge of receiving, checking and listing certificates as well as granting mural certificates.

b- Archiving and Statistics Unit: Is in charge of archiving and preserving annually issued letters and received letters in a particular archive room. Besides, it collects and arranges statistics of all the students and alumni's of the university.
