Biography 

Azad H. Alshatteri is a chemistry lecturer at the University of Garmian in Iraq's Kurdistan region. In 2008, he obtained a BSc in chemistry from the University of Sulaimani in Iraq's Kurdistan region. In 2013, he received a Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom, and his MSc dissertation was named "Infrared Spectroscopic Techniques to Characterize Thin Polymer Films for Organic Electronics" and was supervised by Prof. Dr. Andrew B. Horn. In 2023, he also earned a PhD in bioanalytical chemistry from the University of Sulaimani, with his PhD thesis named "Smartphone-Assisted Nanostructures and Nanozymes-based Optical Biosensors," which was supervised by Prof. Dr. Khalid M. Omer. His scientific interests include analytical chemistry, bioanalytical chemistry, and biosensors.
