Class of 2023-2024 Achivements!
This school year, we have had the opportunity to participate in two Film Festivals: The UIL Young Filmmakers Festival and the 2024 Dallas International Film Festival. We've also had close to $1,000 in donations from anonymous donors from DONORERSCHOOSE.
Animation 1 student Jessica Vazquez animated The Long Way Out. This stop-motion animation used over 300+ photos and stop-motion techniques with figures and clay. Click the image to watch the short on YouTube.
Animated by two Senior Animation 1 students, Emily Rudolph, and Alondra Nunez, their stop-motion style used hand-drawn and colored cutouts. Over 60+ photos were taken to bring this story alive. Watch the DIFF 24 selected short here!
Mr. Varnell
2007 graduate of Sachse High School. Attended The Art Institute of Dallas and Richland College. Worked for 12 years as a professional creative designer and specialist. I joined Sachse in 2023 as a CTE Teacher and College Facilitator.
