Naaman Forest Puts Losing Streak Behind Them
Naaman Forest can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They walked away with a 6-2 victory over the North Garland Raiders. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Rangers also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.
Naaman Forest's win bumped their record up to 6-12-1. As for North Garland, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-17-2 record this season.

As part of the 2023 Bond, GISD began work on replacing grass with turf at three baseball fields and three softball fields. Recently, Naaman Forest invited GISD Superintendent and the Board of Trustees out to the first game on the new turf.

Hellas installed Major Play® synthetic turf at Naaman Forest High School baseball and softball fields. Garland Independent School District Board Members and Superintendent Dr. Ricardo Lopez were on hand to throw out the first pitches at the district opener for the Rangers as they hosted the Sachse Mustangs. Thermoblend® infill was installed by Hellas as well to help reduce field temperatures by 20-30 degrees compared to traditional infill products. Hellas Vice President of Business Development Randy Bullock also threw out a first pitch as he and several GISD representatives weighed in on the amazing field conditions and Hellas' ability to get the job done on time and under budget.
