Hello! My name is Melinda Overson. I am happy to be part of Bryce Valley High School as the school librarian. I came to Bryce Valley with five years of experience as a public librarian in Utah County, and additional experience working in schools. At Pleasant Grove Public Library I worked as the director of children's programs and as a reference librarian.

At Bryce Valley High School, one of our goals this year is to create a culture of reading. Reading inspires creativity, increases knowledge, and combats stress. All great reasons to keep reading life-long! The purpose of our library is to encourage students to love reading, to be lifelong learners, and to feel and be successful on a personal and community level.
