You need to be diligent. You need to ensure you work well independently to learn new vocabulary and verb patterns/irregulars. Independent study also includes things like listening to Spanish language music, watching Spanish series on Netflix and following some La Liga action!
You will need to have a good understanding of how a variety of tenses work. A varied range of vocabulary, structures & idioms across the key topics you’ve covered in KS2/3 would also be helpful.
