Graduation Week Dates and Times

Students who do not arrive on time and attend practices

will not be allowed to walk at graduation.

Be sure you have a ride, know where you are going, and are ON TIME!

Wednesday: May 28th

Rehearsal O’leary 9:30-11:00 am
Cap and Gown Pick-up 11:30-1:00 pm (outstanding fines paid at this time)
Honors Convocation 7:00pm

(seniors 6:00pm Cafeteria - just gown, no cap)

Thursday May 29th

Rehearsal at Field 8:30-12:00 pm

Friday May 30th

Rehearsal at Field 8:30-12:00 pm Seniors Report to O’Leary at 6:00pm - Cap,Gown, Tassel (leave everything else with a family member. (no beverages, bags, etc)
GRADUATION 7:00pm

This ceremony is for students that were given notifications that they are receiving an award. Students that did not receive a notification are welcome to attend, but attendance is not required.

Seniors participating need to meet in cafeteria in formal attire at 6:oo pm with graduation gown (no cap)

Honors Convocation will start at 7:00 pm in O'leary Auditorium

Garden City High School Prom 2025

(required 1/2 day of school in the morning)

Thursday May 22nd, 2025

Soho Banquet Center

The event is from 6:00pm - 11:00pm

School ID will need to be scanned for entry

Students will not be admitted after 7:00pm
