REGISTRATION ANNOUNCEMENT
For the 2024-25 school year, enrolment at Markville S.S. has been capped due to lack of sufficient space to accommodate further enrolment growth.
On Monday, February 12, 2024, at 9:00 a.m., a link to join the ‘expression of interest’ waitlist for Non-YRDSB students will be posted on the main page of the Markville S.S. website.
New students will be directed to immediately register at the designated alternate secondary school(s). Proof of residency requirements and grade 8 proof of residency review has also been introduced.

Unfortunately, we are CLOSED TO TRANSFERS for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. Students must live with thier Guardians within the Markville SS boundaries. Please review your address on the YRDSB School Locator and YRDSB Boundary Map.

Please check directly with the YRDSB specialty school of choice for their application process and due dates.
YRDSB Elementary Families will receive a letter in December about the Transfer Process. This memo will include instructions, as well as a link to the Transfer Form, and due dates.
Students will be notified of the decision of their request to transfer on February 11, 2024.
Grade 8 YRDSB students will be reallocated to the accepting school for course selection in myBlueprint via My Pathway Planner in February.

Current YRDSB Grade 8 students will request an electronic PDF transfer form from their elementary home school and submit to their elementary home school along with their Registration form; this can only be performed for schools that are Open to Transfers.
Students will be notified of the decision of their transfer request on February 11, 2024 (date to be confirmed).
Grade 8 YRDSB students will complete course selection in myBlueprint via My Pathway Planner between February 16 - 24; schools will set up registration appointments to adjust the student timetable where necessary.
Students leaving YRDSB must use the "Not Returning" feature in My Pathway Planner.
