Mathify

Mathify is a free resource for students where they can connect with tutors online (if available). They can get live 1-on-1 help on demand. There is also a question bank for them to peruse.

To Register (New to Mathify):

1) Go to TVO Learn Mathify

2) Click on Register --> as a Student

3) On registration screen:

- create an appropriate username and password they would remember

- Select grade then course code (ie. Grade 9 then MTH1W - De-streamed Mathematics)

- Select School Board --> York Region District School Board (it's the last one in the drop down menu)

- Input OEN (Ontario Education Number), it should be 9 digits. Students with 8 digits will need to add a zero in front. 

- *** Use Gapps email when asked. This is good for password recovery ***

4) Complete the following security questions

Troubleshooting:

1) Upon registering and it says your OEN exists then it means you have an account from the past. You need to recover your password or contact Mathify (mathify@tvo.org) to let you reset your account.

2) OEN number is 9 digits. Some 8 digit OEN require a zero at the front. You must enter the zero.

3) Any other errors with registering, you must contact Mathify support (mathify@tvo.org).

Once signed up, try to logging in once.  There will be 2 buttons: 

1) My whiteboard

2) Question bank

To recover your account:

1) need to have registered with email, or

2) contact Mathify through their email (mathify@tvo.org)
