Online lessons work better if your device is running correctly. Google Meet will perform better if:

• Chrome is up to date -If you see an orange notification on the top right of your Chrome window, please update Chrome. It takes only a few minutes.

• Clear browsing data

• Shutdown your laptop every day

As you probably noticed, Google integrates their Workspace products to make it easier to create and share information as you lead meetings or group conversations.

These are some of the features you might want to explore:

• Google Chat rooms are now "Spaces"

• Google Chat integrations

• Google Meet Host Controls

• Google Meet effects and styles

• Collaborate live in your lesson with Jamboard (not so new)

Besides the OLP functionalities you already use, HS teachers have shared some OLP features useful for home-based learning. For example:

• You can schedule a G-Meet on the OLP - please watch a short video tutorial by Uzay Ashton

• You can collect and review the work of all your students in one place

• You can create templates and create a copy for each student to complete

• You can access our Library's premium resources

• And since very recently, you can publish multiple materials in your classroom
