SMKC is a unique competition, and it is different from the other math competitions. Its syllabus is less advanced than other Olympiad competitions, and students can compete without any special training or advanced knowledge.
SMKC questions are set during Annual Math Kangaroo Conference by 150 educators from 70 countries. With all that math brainpower focused on creating interesting problems, SMKC has the best math problems in the world for all students to enjoy solving.
The exam consists of 30 multiple choice questions and has a 90 minute time limit. Scoring is as follows: Each question scores 3 points in Section A, 4 points in Section B and 5points in Section C. No points are deducted for unanswered question. 1 point is deducted for the wrong answer. Calculators are not permitted.
