Problem of the week (POTW) is a weekly mathematical challenge published by the Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing (CEMC) at the University of Waterloo, Canada.
POTW 2023-2024 is beginning on 15th September!

New problems are posted every Friday.
Problem D is aimed at Grade 9/10 students while Problem E is intended for Grade 11/12 students. However, please feel free to attempt both problems!
POTW – Problem of the Week
There are two ways to earn points.
2 points for getting the correct answer
1 point for attempting any question, to reward students for consistency
Thus, participants can earn up to 2 points per week. Hence, please submit an attempt even if you are not confident about the answer!
Note: Please keep your name consistent when submitting the answer. For example, if you submitted your answer with your full name last week, please make sure to submit your full name next time too. Also a reminder that any answer submitted after 9pm on Wednesday will not count.
POTM – Problem of the Month
There are maximum 12 points available
Partial points are awarded depending on the degree of difficulty for subquestions, as well as extent of completion
