PARENTS FOR SSEP
F1 In
Schools
Programme
The F1 in Schools programme is a global educational initiative that challenges students to design, build, and race miniature Formula 1-style cars. It integrates science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) with real-world applications, fostering innovation, teamwork, and problem-solving skills among young people.
The competition aspect is split into 2 official parts, the regional finals, hosted in Singapore, and the Global Championships, these are hosted around the world each year; Texas, Singapore, UK, etc.
To enter the official competition, a team of 5 students would need to represent in front of a panel of judges, they would need to create a team brand, raise support and funding through sponsorship, design and fabricate an F1 car and train in the launch and racing of it.
We have all the equipment available to us in order to design and fabricate the cars, we have the track and the expertise to train the students in how to use everything, the only thing left to do is...
Get Started!
Innovation@EAST is launching this event and is offering all students a chance to participate, students just need to start designing on CAD (Fusion is preferred), once they are ready they will get trained in how to use the Tormach CNC milling machine so as to manufacture the physical prototype.
