Have an account already? Cool, login. If not, simply go to TinkerCAD.com and sign up with your school email/Google account. Alternatively, your teacher may give you a class code. if so, enter that instead.

PRE-EXPORT DESIGN CHECKS
LENGTH + WIDTH
Select the whole design
Click on one of the corner squares
Make sure it is no larger than 90 x 60 mm
HEIGHT
Select the whole design
Click on one the center square
Make sure it is no larger than 3 - 4 mm in height
IS IT FLAT ON THE BED?
Click to view from the front or side
Make sure your design is flat on the bottom

EXPORTING YOUR COMPLETED DESIGN
Select your model
Click on EXPORT in the top right of the screen
3. Choose .STL as the file type when exporting
4. This should go to your downloads folder, ready to load onto an iMac for 3D printing
YOUR TASK
Choose one of your initial design ideas - the one identified to best meet the design and client criteria
Design that sketch in TinkerCAD
Export your final file as a .STL file type (instructions below)
3D print
Go to the next task to test and then iterate
