Information on career opportunities and advice on higher education courses is provided mainly by teaching staff on courses, or by guest speakers invited to give advice and guidance. In addition, advice on UCAS applications, applying for HE, finance and loans is provided by the Learning Curve team.
There is also a general careers library in the Learning Curve providing advice and guidance on a range of potential careers. There are a range of different computer programmes available in our Careers Library available to all students. These can help you to work out what your career path might be by asking you a series of questions and then matching your answers against a database of careers. There are other programmes that can give information on careers and what training is needed.
In partnership with The University of Suffolk, we also have a dedicated Higher Education champion. The HE Champion is a member of the Network for East Anglian Collaborative Outreach (NEACO) programme as part of the National Collaborative Outreach Programme (NCOP). The HE champion is responsible for encouraging underrepresented groups within the college to consider studying at university or within Higher Education (HE). For any queries, please speak to the Advice and Guidance Assistants in the Learning Curve.
